WhatsYourPrice was recently featured on an episode of ABC TV’s 20/20, “The New Sex.” The segment showed millions of viewers what the WhatsYourPrice.com experience can be.

The report featured two couples whose dates were facilitated through WhatsYourPrice. The first portion focused on Pablo, a 29-year-old entrepreneur from Los Angeles. Pablo uses the site to expedite the dating process because he doesn’t have much free time to devote to traditional dating. Pablo seems to be exactly the kind of guy a girl would want to meet, charming and intelligent. Added bonus: He’s a dog lover! Pablo meets Cyndi, a bikini model and nursing student, for a casual—but romantic—dinner.

Pablo and Cyndi continue their date with a salsa dancing class. The evening ends in an amicable, friendly way … along with Pablo’s payment  of $250 to Cyndi for her company. Both parties told 20/20 that they’d meet for another date, even possibly without the WhatsYourPrice cash incentive. The WhatsYourPrice pay-for-date structure is something that can be negotiated between parties, meaning people can meet through WhatsYourPrice and segue into traditional dating.

20/20 then flies across the country to New York City. Viewers are introduced to Selena, a 19-year-old college student. Selena is both beautiful and ambitious. Although she isn’t necessarily on the site for love, she says that she’s open to the possibility of it. Unfortunately, Selena’s dates don’t pan out, which can happen in any sort of dating. Since online dating can be difficult, it’s important to take to heart the tips that we have recommended on the WhatsYourPrice blog to ensure success.

Achieving a successful first date can be daunting, but facilitating it through an online process can help to maximize your time. The best part of the 20/20 segment is its refreshing honesty. Use any dating site for what it offers and shape it to your preferences. If you’re looking for companionship, it’s certainly out there— and maybe love as well.
