WhatsYourPrice Tutorial: How to Use the Site

image

You’ve signed up for WhatsYourPrice.com…now what? We’ve put together a quick and easy tutorial to help you get started.

Complete Your Profile

Make sure you’re putting your best foot forward with a complete and honest profile. A put-together profile lets potential first dates know exactly what you’re looking for, and helps to establish open communication at the start of your interaction.

For tips on making the perfect profile check out our other blogs on choosing the right profile images and writing great profile descriptions.

Search for Potential First Dates

You’ve completed your profile to perfection, now you’re ready to search for the perfect first date. Unlike some swipe-heavy dating sites, WhatsYourPrice allows you to search for other users based on features that are important to you. Navigate to the search page (indicated by a magnifying glass) and select “Filters” in the top right corner. Adjust all filters to meet your desired specifications for the perfect first date. Once you’ve selected your filters, your search will default to your new settings until you update them again.

Optimize your experience: take a tour of your dashboard to ensure you’re making the most of your time on WhatsYourPrice.com.

Make (& Receive!) Offers

Once you’ve found an interesting prospect, you have three options to choose from:

Make an Offer

If you’ve found someone worthy of a first date, make an offer! All members can make offers, so don’t be shy. Once you make an offer, the other WYP member has the option to accept or make a counter-offer of their own. Once you both agree on an amount, you are ready to message and work out the details of your first date!

Wink

Interested in another WhatsYourPrice member, but not sure how much to offer or request? Winking sends an offer without an amount, allowing you and the other user to start negotiating on the same page..

Favorite

Use “favorites” like a bookmark. If you’re not quite ready to make a move, add a “favorite” and make that offer on another day.

Are you ready to start making and receiving offers on WhatsYourPrice? Leave your questions in the comments below and check out our other tutorials to make the most of your WYP experience.

  8. Don says:

Nowhere can I find any information about how the credit system works, how many it takes for contacting someone, etc. Sounds like a big scam to me.

  9. Greg Palmer says:

I don’t like the format, I would rather pay a monthly fee, my experience has been that after my offer is accepted and I spend my credits so I’m able to message the girl I offered too many times they never answer my messages or their no longer on the site, I feel as though I’m being scammed here, I believe there are fake profile with the intent to get us guys to spend money to open up conversations, this has happened more often than not, I did meet one girl, she’s was nice but begged me to send her money from an hour after our date that I already compensated her on the agreed offer, everyday she asked me to send her money, she could have been a free lance scammer or worked for the site, 5 out 8 girls that accepted my offer ghosted me after I spent credits to open up their message or to just open the ability for me to message them, why would they accept my offers’, reasonable offers and then ghost me, think about that guys.I’m saying thumbs down, more scamming than success.
