Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Who doesn’t want to spend the “most romantic holiday” with someone special?
As singles flock to WhatsYourPrice to facilitate their dates for February 14th, Brandon Wade, founder and CEO of the site, will be putting a personal investment into the love lives of members to assure no one is lonely on the day of love.
Anyone who signs up for WhatsYourPrice between February 1 and 14, and sets up a date for Valentine’s Day will be reimbursed up to $250 for the total value of their date.
Existing members who bid for dates during the time period will also be eligible for the offer.
Since a first date can change your life, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to rank a few locations to maximize your chances of Cupid’s bow hitting her heart.
If you’re into vino, keeping it casual at a wine tasting is an excellent way to calm first date nerves. Wine tasting isn’t limited to just Northern California, utilize resources like Yelp! to discover the best tasting locales near you.
An alternative option for those that cannot find a tasting, or prefer something a little bit more creative, is a Wine and Canvas event. Wine and Canvas is a casual way to enjoy a first date, while painting and sipping!
Although it may be too casual for some, bars are a great place to connect for a first date – especially on a day that carries as much pressure as Valentine’s. Bonus? The majority of patrons will be single, making you better than them – just kidding!
Almost every restaurant will be packed on Valentine’s Day, so if you opt to go that route – be sure to make a reservation well in advance. Also, be sure that you’re comfortable with the setting, as the holiday ambiance may seem overly serious for some.
Remember, just because it’s your first date doesn’t mean you shouldn’t capitalize on the holiday. A simple, sweet gesture such as a bouquet of flowers or a box of gourmet chocolate is a surefire way to make your way into her heart!
#ItsOnWade is only valid for members within the United States. Those who participate will be reimbursed up to $250 of the total value of their date, including the date offer. Members who go on a date on Valentine’s Day must send a selfie and a receipt of the date to [email protected] to be reimbursed.
