It seems like everything I ever want, other than food, is above the $500 threshold, which means premeditated purchases.  While many of us are biding time looking for that perfect millionaire daddy or mommy, here is what you should purchase while ballin’ on a budget.

Make this your first purchase.  A nice handbag is an outfit staple as it can make any outfit look instantly luxe.  Refrain from signature and logo bags, as they can come across flashy or under-echelon.  Look for simple, classic silhouettes similar to the speedy or 2.55.  You want to purchase a bag that is versatile for both day and night.  Brands like Coach and Marc Jacobs Collection offer a price and quality alternative to glam bags.

It can be a frightening reality to realize your wallet is nearly the same price as the handbag that holds it.  Wallets serve handbags as transitional accessories, as they can be partnered with more than one handbag style.  Make sure you purchase something neutral.  Louis Vuitton and Tory Burch provide versatile organizers to enhance your accessories collection.

A timepiece is an essential accessory for everyday.  Watches make you look like you’re going somewhere, or at least have somewhere to be.  It doesn’t matter whether you understand the functions of a chronograph watch – get one.  Watches allow for casual conversation point, (he might just ask you the time), and provide an everyday hardware staple.  Look to progressive brands like Michael Kors and Movado for luxury image without the price point of a Rolex.

Denim is almost an accessory.  Brands like APC encourage clients to wear the same pair of denim regularly, while discouraging laundering for the first 6 months.  Fit is crucial, visit a reputable denim bar or department store to find the perfect denim.
Bonus tip:  When shopping for denim, block out some time and enlist a personal shopper.  As long as you’re patient, finding the right fit is as easy as waiting for that cute sales associate to bring you another size.

You really only need a few staple styles to complete a look.  Purchase something classic to extend the lifespan of style.  Prada, Fendi, and Helmut Lang offer refined, quality, mid-priced versatile styles.

Fill in the remainder of your wardrobe with cost-efficient pieces from fast-fashion retailers like Zara and H&M.

What is your favorite wardrobe staple?

OMG. I think that is the wrong point here. Even the Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Kate and future Queen of England is shopping in normal shops.
For us men it doesnt matter which brand it is, it is more important that is functional and looks good.
For me it is more important what is inside the clothes then the clothes itself.
If I enjoy the company even jeans could be fine. If there is no brain even designer fashion can’t change it.

Hahaha If there’s no brain even designer fashion can’t change that LOL!
Personally, I wear what looks good on me, and I love texture so I also wear what Feels good to me.

The duchess of Cambridge carries designer pieces – she has an expensive Cartier watch, all her dresses are designer, a handful are budget…so you are off here.

It seems that new suckers have joined and are paying high prices for dates on WYP.

For a period of time I was getting bites on sub-50 dollar bids. I am not anymore.

Apparently a new group of men have signed up along with a new group of women, and the higher-priced first date fraud is back on. LOL!

Men, please read the blogs since Jan 21,2014 and then decide how much to pay for the dates here.

    • Kate says:

Josh you sound like a cheap guy? Why are you on this site? It seems you want free dates…why aren’t you on for your free dates? Why should a woman meet you for a mere $50? That won’t even pay for the salon …as she will go to name herself ready for you. Men like you who are cheap and want free things, really should not be on here.

When I said read the blog since Jan 21,2014, I had meant to say, bread blogs and more importantly the comments.”

Almost all women want lots of money and do the least to get it. Very very few women on here really want to honestly date anyone.

Please that’s not a woman thing, that’s a natural animal instinct thing. Most animals are naturally made to try to conserve energy and get the most out of their environment with the least expenditure. That’s our survival programmed into us. On the other hand, I personally find myself constantly over thinking things and unnecessarily taking the longer and harder route. Now that’s woman brain for you!

  5. Kate says:

That is not true..every one wants the brands but cannot afford it. I carry only brands because there durable, it is an investment, they look good – a man didn’t buy them for me…I bought them myself. We love good stuff.
